On November 6th, Iron Chef Mario Batali squares off with fellow Food Network alum Guy Fieri and hometown favorite Tim Love for a charity cook-off. Asphalt Chef pits the three cheflebrities in a one-on-one-on-one contest but the star power doesn't end there. Acting as sous chefs will be four-time defending NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson (team Batali), 2004 Sprint Cup Series champ Kurt Busch (Team Fieri) and legendary rock band Foreigner’s lead singer Kelly Hansen (Team Love).
The cook-off is the main event of a two-day charity drive scheduled for the evening of Saturday, Nov. 6 to raise money for Speedway Children’s Charities-Texas Chapter. Batali is call it the Ultimate Tailgate Party and it will be held during November’s AAA Texas 500 NASCAR triple-header weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.
