Roial - The Crown Jewel of Austin Nightlife

From Thrillist:

As your ambitions grow grander, it can get to the point where you think anything is possible, except of course leading the T-Wolves to the Finals. Pulling off their biggest coup to date, the guys behind Roial.

Roial's the nightlife crown jewel of the downtown kings who gave us Pure, Fuel, Treasure Island, and Kiss & Fly: a swank, dual-level, 800-capacity destination with 5th St.'s biggest rooftop and dopest DJ booths, including one built on top of the rooftop bar and backlit by the Frost Tower, so even the most restrained turntable-ist will be iced-out. With minimal lighting built into stone columns, the arboreal-chic downstairs features a beautifully stained, locally reclaimed wood bar-top, as well as lacquered twigs, knotted-wood branch sculptures, and reclaimed cedar throughout; for bottle-servicers, the upstairs boasts reservable leather booths made future-sassy via white illuminated tabletops, though if all the beautiful ladies make you catch Elijah Wood, you'll wish everything wasn't illuminated. Tonight they're christening the joint with a monstrous Ink Ball fueled by free Famous Vodka from 9-11p, body-painted women, chocolate fountains, a booth from Blindside Tattoo, and a performance by sex-crazed Hollywood rapper Mickey Avalon, who like Frankie is all about his Venus.

Due to be completed by Memorial Day, the capper will be a 4ft-deep walk-in rooftop pool, where you can make like another dude who left the Midwest for greener pastures, and go Wade-ing.
