Ruth Reichl Puts Third Coast on Book Tour

Acclaimed food writer and restaurant critic Ruth Reichl (Tender at the Bone, Gourmet) is hitting the road in support of her newest book, Gourmet Today and two of the stops bring her to Third Coast states.

In just a few days you can catch her at the Williams-Sonoma located at 51 Highland Park Village in Dallas, TX. She'll be there 1-3 pm on September 23rd. More info is available at the Williams-Sonoma website.

On October 26th she'll be at the Miami International Book Fair held at Miami-Dade College 300 NE Second Avenue, Miami, FL. The time is TBA but you can check their website for updates.

For those unfamiliar with Reichl here is a brief bio from the Gourmet Today website which also contributed the photos:
    RUTH REICHL joined Gourmet as Editor in Chief in April 1999. She came to the magazine from The New York Times, where she had been the restaurant critic since 1993. As chef and co-owner of The Swallow Restaurant from 1974 to 1977, she played a part in the culinary revolution that took place in Berkeley, California. In the years that followed, she served as restaurant critic for New West and California magazines. In 1984, she became restaurant critic of the Los Angeles Times, where she was also named food editor.
